The completely new product line MICHELIN Pilot Road 3 is aimed at riders of sport-touring bikes.
The Pilot Road 3 provides excellent grip under almost all conditions, especially on wet and damp roads, while also achieving high mileage. The engineers at the Michelin Technology Center have developed a completely new tread technology for the tread area, known as “X Sipe Technology” (XST).
This technology works in two ways: On the one hand, the sharp-edged sipes cut through the water film on wet roads.
On the other hand, the widened tread grooves improve the drainage of water outward.
